Dennis Boggs, one of the members of the school and teacher union, said his members were dismayed by the findings and called on the school government to apologise.

“Them카지노se are not results that I would like to see in my own local community, but frankly I would ask anybody who saw them to contact the teacher union,” Mr Boggs said.

The findings are published as part of a report examining the state of Australian education funding.

Australian School Principals Association president Mark Hoggard said the group had asked the Department of Education whether it regretted releasing the reports in advance of the Gonski report, which also highlighted poor outcomes, and had not heard back.

“We’ve made every effort to get all of the department’s submissions on the report and we have been disappointed, it’s unfortunate that we haven’t been able to get them,” Mr Hoggard said.

Education Minister Simon Birmingham said the Government was committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for teachers and schools.

He said some of the report’s findings highlighted the need for further investment into public education in the community and would inform decisions taken by the Government in 2018 and beyond.
